Ortiz White Tuna in Olive Oil

This is wild white tuna, sustainably caught 1 by 1 before being packed in organic Spanish olive oil by Conservas Ortiz, who have been fishing and storing tuna like this for 130 years! The olive oil is a traditional way of storing fish which is particularly good for preserving texture and in fact the taste enhances with age. (All cans are actually aged 3 months before the company releases them to the market.) Nothing artificial / no preservatives. Great to have a few in the pantry for emergency snacking or quick meals.
